Biography
Celaleddin Biçer was born in Konya (Turkey). 1976 his family moved to Belgium.
1994 he started studies in Sinology; at the same time he took ney and kanun lessons with his father Arıf Biçer,
a soloist at the TRT Ankara.
Since 1991 he also works at the TRT Ankara. 1995 he took up teaching at Middle East Technical University Ankara.
He tours and records in Europa, the USA and Asia with several other groups and artists
(amongst them Fazıl Say).
Since 2015, he is a ney soloist with Turkish Radio & Television.
He is a member of Sarband since 2003.
