Bahadir Sener
(Kanun, Percussion)

was born in Istanbul. He studied kanun with Ihsan Özer at Istanbul Conservatory, where he graduated in 1996.

In the same year he started to play at TRT as a kanun soloist.
In 1996 he joined SARBAND.

He started his postgraduate studies at Istanbul Technical University in 2000. 2002 he graduated with a M.A, collaborated with the Istanbul Whirling Dervishes on an USA tour and started playing as a kanun soloist
with Omar Faruk Tekbilek.
